Wild Childs Club History

Rickie's PictureNew Year's Day 2001, Cynthia Childs and Rick Childs Jr. were killed in a horrible truck wreck on Monarch Pass Colorado, when the brakes on the semi truck Cynthia was driving failed due to being defective.

Cynthia and Rick Sr. had a dream of owning a club. In 2003, upon receiving the wrongful death settlements, Rick decided that blood money could not be squandered so he decided to open a club. If you hear Rick say "It's not my club its Cyndi's and Ricky's" now you know why. In April 2003 Rick acquired an old closed down strip club and remodeled it. He fashioned the logo with a red and a yellow rose just as the roses appear on his wife and sons headstone, to honor them. In June 2003 Wild Childs opened its doors.

In honor of Cyndi and Ricky's death you will never find Wild Childs open on New Years Day. CynthiaThrough its ups and downs Wild Childs remains open to this day and Rick hopes it will remain open long after his death because as long as it's alive Ricky and Cyndi will be alive in essence.
